Boston Strong

There’s no doubt last week was one of the most horrifying, sad and intense weeks in the history of Boston, Mass.

If there was any doubt before, last week proved that Boston is one of the strongest, compassionate and dedicated cities in the world. The million of folks who make up the city came together to defeat terrorism, and move forward – chins and pride held high.

Just a week before the horrific events that took place at the finish line of the Boston Marathon, my mom and I were visiting Boston as part of our Mother/Daughter weekend. We visited Copley Square, and were just steps from the finish line as hundreds of volunteers set up the course.

Just a few photos from our trip to Boston, a city that if you haven’t visited yet, you really should.

Highly recommend doing a “Duck Boat Tour.” Had a blast – great way to see the city – by land and sea. Yes, it goes into the water too.

Entering the water! And yes, the driver is dressed up like a leprechaun.

And finally, my favorite photo of the trip. Very appropriate – Cheers to Boston, one of the greatest cities in America.

  1. Loved every minute of our weekend. I keep thinking about the people we met while in Boston – proud of their city – hope they are ok.
